I've been writing Deadpool on and off since '12 with a 7 year hiatus before coming back to the rpc. I'm a bit rusty. While I have my favorite writers for Wade, if our characters have interacted in a way that's meaningful to your interpretation, I'll gladly find the comics online to read them to interact with you better. I don't write MCU Deadpool full-stop nor use Ryan as a faceclaim.Wade isn't written like a meme character here. I fell in love with him because he was a tragic anti-hero who's every good deed always goes punished. I do not write anything written by Duggan. Wade has no kids.[002.]   Thick skin.
Wade doesn't hold much, if anything, back from insulting other people. His goal is to get a reaction and get under their skin. He will make fun of their appearance, alliances, history, abilities, or even disabilities. While I'm not going out of my way to write him as an asshole - that's what he is. An asshole. Some things are actually off limits that he won't go near. There's plenty of creative ways to be a bastard.With that being said, don't hold yourself back when it comes to insulting Wade, should it be IC to do so. Anything is on the table. No blow is too low. Cancer? His looks? The blood on his hands? Fair game. Most characters don't like Wade and I'm perfectly content with that.I do not have triggers. I only ask you write your muse as IC that feels most authentic to you. Don't hold back.[003.]   portrayal.
Wade can break the fourth wall and he's aware he's a comic book character. However, I find it unfunny and cheep to constantly bring it up. Such mentions will be used sparingly.There will be times Wade actually wants to reform and be better than what he is. There will also be times he gives up on hope for himself and relapses into old abusive and violent habits. Deadpool is written as an anti-hero here and fully capable of horrific violence and abuse, even and sometimes especially towards those he actually likes.[004.]   drama.
It's not welcome here. No vauging. No call-out's. No content policing. If you don't like what someone writes, block and move on. I don't care what people write on their blogs and if I'm not vibing I just won't engage. Content policing and purity culture has no home here.While I don't consider politics drama, I don't want it on my dash. This is my space away from that shit.

Wade is fluid in both gender and sexuality and has had various flings, relationships, and one-sided crushes throughout his time being written. Wade is likely to flirt though at large this is a joke - his face is the punchline. I keep his canon crushes portrayed though this doesn't mean I'm expecting a ship. However, if you want to ship it needs to be warned - Wade is prone to abusive tactics. Mental, verbal, and potentially physical. He isn't a healthy person to know intimately and a relationship with him is likely to be unstable at best and toxic at worst. Don't expect something cute and happy.Smut is written on discord only.[005.]   World building.
I have a keen interest in world-building, dynamic crafting, and making bonds and establishments. I want to create meaningful dynamics with my roleplay partners.[006.]   Face claims. I don't care. I don't understand face claim rules and drama and I don't want to. If you want to use the actors in the shows, movies, ect, go ham. If you want to use a face you found on your own, power to you. I strictly use comic icons if I use icons at all.[007.]   Violence. It's well known to readers and movie-watchers that Deadpool has a healing factor. As such I'm pretty chill with violence that happens to him - be it him getting shot, stabbed, drugged, or otherwise suffering things others wouldn't survive. This isn't a pass to treat DP like punching bag, but if it's reasonable for your character to get a shot at him - I'm not going to care, though he might very well retaliate. The only thing I ask is that DP's skill as a mercenary be respected. He often isn't just going to LET his ass get kicked though it absolutely happens every now and again.Due to his healing factor, drugs have to be a much higher dose to have an effect on him and mutants that can read minds cannot read Wade's. Beyond that, go ham.[008.]   mains & exclusives. from what i've seen most of the RPC seems super lax, which is good. i'm dupe friendly, fine with dp's following me and perfectly fine with rp partners writing with other deadpool's. i usually roll multi-ship, single-character exclusive but that's only when the exclusivity has been discussed & when a good amount of in character content / roleplaying's been established.
